During the week, campers will have morning engineering classes at Ripon High School or visits to local companies. Afternoon activities include English/Mandarin language study, hands-on prairie and water ecology research utilizing the natural resources in the Ripon area.
 

Engineering classes include:

• Exploring the principles of engineering through a variety of hands-on activities

• Industry site visits

• Course curriculum integrating math, physics, chemistry, engineering, and technical communications
   

Students will:

• Engage in open-ended problem-solving opportunities

• Learn and apply the engineering design process and use the same industry-leading technology and software as are used in the world’s top companies

• Investigate topics such as sustainability, mechatronics, forces, structures, aerodynamics, digital electronics and circuit design, manufacturing, and the environment

• Learn about different engineering disciplines before beginning post-secondary education or careers
